We are a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in the heart of one of Chicago’s most beautiful and diverse neighborhoods.
For our first twenty five years, we were known as Hyde Park Alliance Church, but because of some new and wonderful things God is doing among us, we now call ourselves Church of the Shepherd.
Hyde Park is known as a place of almost limitless vitality and we are honored to serve our neighborhood as we seek to make the Good News of Jesus Christ visible through our life together as a community.
Please join us for worship as we gather every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in our historic home at the corner of 52nd and Dorchester.
We also have Morning Prayer every Monday through Friday at 7:00 a.m. Our prayer services are inspired by the Taizé community in France.
